Integrating SAP with Serasa credit analysis at Votorantim Cimentos

Votorantim Cimentos changed the provider of its credit analysis solution and needed the new integration with SAP running before the old contract ended. Go-live came ahead of schedule, with no failures and no open items.

  • 20+ daysahead of the go-live date
  • 25,000credit analyses per month
  • 11countries where the client operates
  • Zeroopen items at closure

01The challenge

Votorantim Cimentos, one of the largest building materials companies in the world, operating in 11 countries, decided to replace the provider of its credit analysis tool with a company that knew the Brazilian market better. The project started before the new tool was chosen, and the choice ended up being Serasa.

Once the old solution was switched off, the new integration would have to sustain credit analysis with the same performance and within the company's credit policy. The contract with the previous provider left no margin, the pandemic had reduced Votorantim's project management team and, to leave time for stabilization, delivery had to happen ahead of schedule.

02What we did

Intellevo took over management of the workstreams from the planning stage, led the integration of SAP with the Serasa tool and worked in daily alignment with the Votorantim team to keep the scope defined at the start.

03The result

The project went live ahead of schedule, with no failures, and closed with no open items. Credit queries now get an immediate response, at a volume of 20,000 to 25,000 analyses per month.

By far, Intellevo was the best SAP consulting firm I have worked with here at Votorantim Cimentos. A proactive, results-focused team that spared no effort for us to exceed expectations. The result could not have been different: we went live more than 20 days early, with no failures, and closed the project with no open items.
